My research focuses on small mammal ecology within urban greenways. I utilize capture-mark-recapture techniques, wildlife camera surveys of carnivore activity, and seed trays to assess the giving-up density (GUD) of rodents in this this research.
I also study the chemically-mediated behavioral decisions of field crickets under the threat of predation from wolf spiders. This research involves both laboratory and field components. If you are a student interested in gaining research experience, stop by my office to talk.
