On Friday, Sept 29, over 25 students were joined by instructors Amanda Karls, Dr. Tracey Woodard and Dr. Courtney McDonald to help SPACE with another successful Greenway cleanup!
For our second cleanup day on the trail, land manager Lynn Rhodes met our student group and showed them the important work that they are helping with on the Greenway. Students maintained a positive and motivated attitude throughout the cleanup. On the shuttle ride back to campus, students expressed that they enjoyed themselves to a much larger degree than they had originally anticipated–getting outdoors can do wonders for our minds and bodies!
We are excited to see the progress throughout the semester, and will update these blog posts with photos as we continue to clean up the Greenway!
