Thursday, April 4 from 3:00-5:00 in the Smith Boardroom of the Health Education Complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BUT FIRST, <strong>we need applications &amp; nominations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscupstate.edu\/faculty-staff\/faculty-tool-kit\/SLCE-instructor-resources\/service-awards-faculty-staff\/\"><strong>apply<\/strong><\/a> for one or more awards for yourself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nominate <\/strong>a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscupstate.edu\/faculty-staff\/faculty-tool-kit\/SLCE-instructor-resources\/service-awards-faculty-staff\/\">colleague<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscupstate.edu\/current-students\/service-learning\/service-learning-awards\/\">student<\/a>, &amp;\/or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscupstate.edu\/faculty-staff\/faculty-tool-kit\/SLCE-instructor-resources\/service-awards-faculty-staff\/\">community partner<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Changes for this year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Event name: &#8220;Celebration of Community in Education&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community Partner Awards for each academic college<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff Senate Community Partner Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community Engaged Research or Creative Project &#8211; now open to any University employee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Deadline Thursday, February 15:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/emailuscupstateedu.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Employee-Intranet\/SitePages\/Service-Awards---Faculty-&amp;-Staff.aspx\"><strong>Faculty\/Staff Applications<\/strong><\/a><br><em>(Nominate a colleague NOW &amp; we&#8217;ll invite them to apply!)<\/em>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$100 &#8211; Volunteerism for <strong>staff<\/strong> &amp; <strong>faculty<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$250 &#8211; Adjunct&#8217;s Excellence in Community Engaged Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$500 &#8211; Faculty Excellence in Community Engaged Education&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$500 &#8211; Excellence in Community Engaged Research or Creative Project<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <em>(available to any full-time employee of the University)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/emailuscupstateedu.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Student-Intranet\/SitePages\/Service-Learning-Awards.aspx\"><strong>Nominations for Students<\/strong><\/a><br><em>(Students will be invited to apply by 2\/28)<\/em>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$100 &#8211; Excellence in Community Engaged Education Leadership<em> (underclassman, upper classman, &amp; graduate)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$200 &#8211; Student Excellence in Community Engaged Research or Creative Project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/emailuscupstateedu.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Employee-Intranet\/SitePages\/Service-Awards---Faculty-&amp;-Staff.aspx\"><strong>Community Partner Nominations<\/strong><\/a><br><em>(Your nomination is their application)<\/em>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$100 &#8211; Staff Senate, CAHSS, COEHPH, CST, JCBE, &amp; MBSON\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$250 &#8211; University Community Partner of the Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Engage Upstate <em>(AKA Office of Service-Learning and Community Engagement)<\/em> is excited to recognize the outstanding service of our students, adjuncts, staff, and faculty with the support of CAIFS and the Provost&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please direct questions to <a href=\"mailto:DMarlow@uscupstate.edu\">DMarlow@uscupstate.edu<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let&#8217; s Celebrate!
