  • CAST U499 – CE: Child Advocacy Internship<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Supervised work experience in a community agency working with victims and survivors of child maltreatment, and\/or their families.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Prerequisite(s): CAST U301, CAST U401, and CAST U402; senior standing; and consent of instructor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • CRJU U352 – SL: Sexual Misconduct<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Examination of public forms of sexual misconduct, specifically sexual harassment and sexual assault in places of employment and education. Includes an analysis of motives, victim\/perpetrator characteristics, and corporate, societal, and individual responses to sexual misconduct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Prerequisite(s): CRJU U101 or consent of instructor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • PSYC U302 – SL: Developmental Psychology (04M & 05M)<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Introduction to life span developmental psychology providing an overview of cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development from conception to senescence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Prerequisite(s): PSYC U101.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • PSYC U499 – CE: Psychology Internship<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Supervised work experience in community agency or hospital. Fifty hours of work for each credit hour are required. Course may be repeated for additional semesters with approval of instructor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Prerequisite(s): Psychology major; PSYC U101; grade of C or better in PSYC U325; senior standing; and consent of instructor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • SOCY U101 – CE (02)<\/strong>\n
              \n
            • Introduction to the major theoretical and methodological perspectives used to explain, investigate and analyze social life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • SOCY U320 – SL: Sociology of Aging<\/strong>\n
                \n
              • Processes of aging as a form of socialization and demographic reality, including institutional effects. The status of the elderly and the sources of prejudice and discrimination they experience are emphasized.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Prerequisite(s): SOCY U101.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • SOCY U323 – SL: Urban Sociology<\/strong>\n
                  \n
                • Characteristics, causes, and impacts of city life. Different types of urban areas and current issues are examined from comparative, historical, and global perspectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                • SOCY U353 – SL: Sexual Misconduct<\/strong>\n

                  • Social factors in the development, identification, and treatment of crime and criminals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
