It is based on the premise that it doesn&#8217;t matter where learning occurs; what matters is what students know and what they can do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USC Upstate recognizes a range of educational experiences and grants credit for prior learning: AP, CLEP, and similar exams; credit from military transcripts; workplace training experience recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE); credit by challenge exam for a USC Upstate course; credit by advanced standing (application for back credit); and credit by portfolio.
