Best Practice Suggestion:
Best SL/CE (& other assessment) literature suggests replacing a formal written reflection with a reflective conversation for a course credit.
The Fine Print:
OSL/CE and SODEXO will pay for any instructor in an SL/CE course to invite 1-4 students to coffee @ PerkUP! or a meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) at the CLC dining hall. We encourage you especially to meet with students who may be struggling in your course, but you can choose any or all (maximum 4 students per session, to ensure you can interact with them all).
Instructors may participate multiple times, but only one conversation per student per course, per semester can be covered. Visit our Coffee and Conversation webpage for full details.
Not Currently Teaching a SL/CE Course?
The Spartan’s Table program may be for you! Faculty and staff are welcome to use this initiative twice per semester.
