Join us for our 2024 Engage Upstate – Celebration of Community in Education. Thursday, April 4 from 3:00-5:00 in the Smith Boardroom of the Health Education Complex.
BUT FIRST, we need applications & nominations.
Please apply for one or more awards for yourself!
Nominate a colleague, student, &/or community partner.
Changes for this year:
- Event name: “Celebration of Community in Education”
- Community Partner Awards for each academic college
- Staff Senate Community Partner Award
- Community Engaged Research or Creative Project – now open to any University employee
Deadline Thursday, February 15:
- Faculty/Staff Applications
(Nominate a colleague NOW & we’ll invite them to apply!)- $100 – Volunteerism for staff & faculty
- $250 – Adjunct’s Excellence in Community Engaged Education
- $500 – Faculty Excellence in Community Engaged Education
- $500 – Excellence in Community Engaged Research or Creative Project
(available to any full-time employee of the University)
- Nominations for Students
(Students will be invited to apply by 2/28)- $100 – Excellence in Community Engaged Education Leadership (underclassman, upper classman, & graduate)
- $200 – Student Excellence in Community Engaged Research or Creative Project
- Community Partner Nominations
(Your nomination is their application)- $100 – Staff Senate, CAHSS, COEHPH, CST, JCBE, & MBSON
- $250 – University Community Partner of the Year
Engage Upstate (AKA Office of Service-Learning and Community Engagement) is excited to recognize the outstanding service of our students, adjuncts, staff, and faculty with the support of CAIFS and the Provost’s office.
