Learn in Costa Rica & the Dominican Republic – June 2024
Read below to learn more about an immersive 30-day education, culture, and language experience for education majors with an interest in cross-cultural comparisons between educational systems – for an out-of-pocket cost of only $500!
Who we are looking for:
- Six (6) education majors
- Any specialization
- Interested in equity & inclusion
- Ready for a deep intercultural experience
Travel overview:
- 30 Days: June 3 – July 1, 2024
- Dominican Republic & Costa Rica (destinations to be confirmed)
- Cost: $500. Includes: airfare, lodging, meals, etc.
Starting in January 2024:
- Required course: ENGL U398/ENSL U398
- Collaborate with fellow scholars, including in-service teachers to hone multicultural & diversity awareness, practice Spanish, plan research, create a shared blog, and prepare for June!

- If you cannot travel, you can still participate virtually and enroll in the Spring 2024 course
