Volunteer with SPACE on MLK Day of Service

Sign up here!

The Spartanburg Area Conservancy (SPACE) is hosting a volunteer work day at the Upper Chinquapin Greenway on Monday, January 15 for this year’s MLK Day of Service, and we would like to extend the invitation to attend to any and all interested faculty, staff, and students!

USC Upstate will provide transportation via shuttle for the first 25 participants to and from the Greenway, but volunteers are welcome to drive themselves as well — the Greenway is less than a mile from campus.

There will be two service options available for volunteers to choose from:  one will be continuing our work with invasive species removal along the trail and another group will be picking up litter along Graham Road adjacent to the preserve.
