At the University of South Carolina Upstate, we are committed to ensuring that all students have equal educational and technological opportunities in the classroom. Students have a right to know the privacy and accessibility policies of the tools they use.

Purpose and Applications
You can use Accessibility and Privacy Statements to:

  • Meet your instructional responsibility to inform students about the tools they will use in the classroom.
  • Empower students to make informed choices about how to share information and how to access course tools in a format that meets their needs.

Accessibility and Privacy Statements for Common Software and Applications
Reference(s) to the statements of privacy, accessibility, voluntary product accessibility template (VPAT) documents, and/or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) statements should be provided to students in the syllabus/course either with direct links to these statements or by linking to this page for the latest statements.
